We are a non-profit founded in 2009, working to empower at-risk women to take control over their lives and enhance their skills so they can support themselves and their families. Because many women feel stuck with no options out because they lack the skills, education and work history to get a job, they remain in unhappy, abusive or unhealthy situations. Through our different programs and with the help of our volunteers, we provide workshops, hands-on training, mentoring and ongoing support.

ABOUT US

We offer a 6-class certificate program that teaches participants all the aspects of running an online business, including inventory acquisition, taking pictures, listing, shipping, customer service and accounting. When they complete the program and internship, they are able to continue to work for the center, mentor others, and/or they can take their skills and open their own store. The best part of this new skill is that it follows them wherever they go. This program is offered at no cost and a online business training certificate is awarded upon successful completion of all 6 classes.

We also offer computer and life skills training and give seminars on career readiness including interviewing and resume writing. All of these are done at no cost to the participant. Please check our website for upcoming offerings or reach out for special requests.

CoreyAnthony started with a simple premise: Help women to help themselves. Many women feel helpless and hopeless in their current situation, and we want to help them learn skills and build confidence. Our programs are tailored to the individual. We provide job training and life skills and sometimes just a nice suit for an interview. No situation is too small or too large. We are here to empower women, enhance their lives and provide support.
